Dear Child,                         

I am the One who made you;

          The One who watched as you grew in the womb.

I made you complex and unique,

          And I made you just the way I wanted you.

I know everything about you.

          I see you when you get up, and when you lie down.

I even know the exact number of hairs on your head.

          And I know what you will say before you say it.

Everywhere you go, I am with you.

          There is nowhere you can go where I don’t see you.

When you feel lonely, afraid, or discouraged,

          I am there with you.

Ever since you were little,

          I have had such great plans for you!

What I want to do in your life is so great,

          So much greater than anything you could ever imagine.

My thoughts toward you are precious;

          You cannot count the times and ways I think of you.

You have such value to Me,

          And there is nothing you can do to change how much

I love you.

I long for you to know me more.

          I desire to spend time with you each day,

So that you can begin to understand

          How important you are to me.
